Once we receive data from the LA what do people do with it and how do people use it currently?
How do people communicate and formalise the admissions offer with new parents - do people send welcome packs once they have been sent confirmation of the new students joining their schools?
I haven’t been involved at school level for some time! However, I do know that schools will communicate with parents as soon as the list is in to remind them to send the appropriate paperwork back to the school (or LA) as soon as possible. Once they have confirmed they want the place they will be sent the admissions pack or, from now on, a link to Applicaa to complete the admissions form and also sign up for any events available to them.
In my experience each school/LA does things slightly differently! Applicaa will certainly help to promote consistency across a Trust in how admissions are dealt with.
