Do you invite families into school and organise open mornings/open evenings/sessions?
Yes - many schools across our Trust invite families in for events such as open mornings or even days. Having an online prospectus on your admissions page is also helpful - you can always share the link with local nurseries and the local press if needed.
With many primary schools it is often word of mouth that helps to promote such events so if you have a social media page or a newsletter, you could make your existing parents aware that it is happening.

The nursery does seem to be word of mouth too - and often receiving lots of calls even from parents with newborn babies!
